Since graduating he ranked highly in national recruitment and completed foundation training in the sought-after South East London scheme. During the week he is currently working at the prestigious King’s College Hospital as a Senior House Officer and also undertaking further training in the disciplines of Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Paediatric Dentistry. He is also undertaking training to be able to provide intravenous sedation which can help nervous patients.
At university he was elected as the president of the Bhangra society for three years consecutively and was first runner-up for president of the year in 2018. He has been awarded many awards for his work with King’s College London Student Union including Gold Crown awards. During this time the society also won the national competition in 2019 and was awarded with 3 First runner up positions.
Although he enjoys problem solving and bringing together all disciplines in dentistry, his main interests lie in restorative dentistry and particularly enjoys composite bonding. He is currently in the process of obtaining membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
In his spare time Lak enjoys reading, going on long drives and playing golf.
